Most frequent questions and answers
We want to see whether the gap between midcap and big companies is widening due to the concentration of competence amongst the larger companies. And how it affects the understanding of the market, the ability to utilize new technology, and available resources for necessary service development.
Midcap service providers are being invited to take part. We are looking at randomly selected companies to be contacted to ask if they would be willing to take part. To take part, you must be available to be contacted by skype, zoom, or another digital platform.
As a participant, you will receive access to the survey results and specially prepared news and analysis to inform business strategy. And you’ll have the chance to attend digital senior-level gatherings.
It is up to you to decide whether or not to take part. We will explain the study and go through the information leaflet. If you do decide to take part, you will be asked to give consent. To do this, you will be asked to reply to a text message from us to confirm that you are willing to take part. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and you are free to refuse to take part or to withdraw from the study at any time.
The overall findings of the study may be published in a scientific journal, but these will not mention you in any way. If you would like to receive information about the results of the study, please let us know, and we will forward a summary of the findings to you at the end of the study.
If you have a concern about any aspect of this study, you should ask to speak to Arvid Madland Lyngens, who will do her best to answer your questions. If you remain unhappy and wish to complain formally, you can do this by contacting Petter Vasholmen, who is the project leader.
Thank you for taking the time to read this information sheet and considering taking part.
